Beautifully consistent temperature results
Lots of adjustable storage space
Some nice usability features
A bit of an energy hog
Introduction
Compared to industry stalwarts like GE, Amana and Maytag, LG is relatively new to the refrigerator game. But when it comes to entry-level stainless fridges, the LG LTC22350SS is the one to beat. Though it has some trouble with energy efficiency and keeping fresh foods humid in the vegetable drawer, the LG LTC22350SS has consistent temperature performance and a superior fit, finish and design.

Energy Efficiency
The LG LTC22350SS is a bit of an energy hog, using more power than comparable fridges. We suspect its because the compressor comes on more often in order to keep an even temperature. Read More... |

Usability
The LTC22350SS is quite usable, with adequate storage space, easy to clean shelves and a highly configurable interior. Our only complaint is that the temperature/vent/light console takes up lots of room that could be used by the top shelf. Read More... |

Fisher Paykel E522BRX 17.6 Cu. Ft. Bottom Freezer Stainless Steel Review
Proving that counter-depth fridges can perform just as well as their full-sized big brothers, the LG LTC22350SS delivers performance that ranges from adequate in some areas to outstanding in others. It manages to provide solid temperature consistency, decent humidity control, and an excellent freezer that outperforms many full-sized versions. At the end of the day, though, it is still a counter-depth fridge, offering less storage space than even some of the smallest, and cheapest, full-sized options. It’s definitely something to keep in mind when determining whether the full MSRP of $1609, or even a sale price of $1400, make this aesthetically pleasing little fridge from New Zealand worth the investment. GE GSHS6HGDSS 25.9 Cu. Ft. Side By Side Stainless Steel Review
With an MSRP of $1399, you’d expect really solid performance from the LG LTC22350SS. What wind up with is a decent fridge and a solid vegetable drawer. Unfortunately, you also get stuck with a fridge that hits you in the electric bill and a freezer that will burn more than it will freeze. Its best asset is a spatial balance between the fridge and freezer, meaning your can store substantial amounts of frozen and fresh goods…but if you can’t get it on sale, why would you really want to?
