With an MSRP of $1,399, you'd expect really solid performance from the GE GSHS6HGDSS. What you wind up with is a decent fridge and a solid vegetable drawer.

Introduction

The GE GSHS6HGDSS is a side-by-side fridge that manages to do well, even if it doesn't blow the competition out of the water. Internal temperature consistency and energy efficiency, two major focal points when shopping for fridges, underperformed when compared to models of similar size and cost. A rather high-end MSRP of $1399 may seem like a bit much when taking those factors into account, but we found sale prices as low as $1000 that may make this appliance more attractive.
