Easy-to-clean shelves
Relatively energy efficient for size
Inaccurate temperature performance
Flimsy drawers
Introduction
If you need a big fridge with through-the-door ice and water, the Frigidaire Gallery FGUS2642LF can be found online for under $1100. It doesn’t have the most accurate temperature performance, but it’s got a good set of features for the price.

Fisher Paykel E522BRX 17.6 Cu. Ft. Bottom Freezer Stainless Steel Review
Proving that counter-depth fridges can perform just as well as their full-sized big brothers, the Frigidaire Gallery FGUS2642LF delivers performance that ranges from adequate in some areas to outstanding in others. It manages to provide solid temperature consistency, decent humidity control, and an excellent freezer that outperforms many full-sized versions. At the end of the day, though, it is still a counter-depth fridge, offering less storage space than even some of the smallest, and cheapest, full-sized options. It’s definitely something to keep in mind when determining whether the full MSRP of $1609, or even a sale price of $1400, make this aesthetically pleasing little fridge from New Zealand worth the investment. GE GSHS6HGDSS 25.9 Cu. Ft. Side By Side Stainless Steel Review
With an MSRP of $1399, you’d expect really solid performance from the Frigidaire Gallery FGUS2642LF. What wind up with is a decent fridge and a solid vegetable drawer. Unfortunately, you also get stuck with a fridge that hits you in the electric bill and a freezer that will burn more than it will freeze. Its best asset is a spatial balance between the fridge and freezer, meaning your can store substantial amounts of frozen and fresh goods…but if you can’t get it on sale, why would you really want to?
