Decent amount of space
Performs well for a budget model
Not the best temperature consistency
The freezer’s in trouble if power goes out
Introduction
The Frigidaire FFHS2311LW is a well priced refrigerator with a decent sized fridge and freezer section. It’s a bit on the cheap side, though, so don’t expect the best performance. We found that frozen food melted somewhat quicker than most, primarily due to a somewhat inconsistent freezer temperature.

Fisher Paykel E522BRX 17.6 Cu. Ft. Bottom Freezer Stainless Steel Review
Proving that counter-depth fridges can perform just as well as their full-sized big brothers, the Frigidaire FFHS2311LW delivers performance that ranges from adequate in some areas to outstanding in others. It manages to provide solid temperature consistency, decent humidity control, and an excellent freezer that outperforms many full-sized versions. At the end of the day, though, it is still a counter-depth fridge, offering less storage space than even some of the smallest, and cheapest, full-sized options. It’s definitely something to keep in mind when determining whether the full MSRP of $1609, or even a sale price of $1400, make this aesthetically pleasing little fridge from New Zealand worth the investment. GE GSHS6HGDSS 25.9 Cu. Ft. Side By Side Stainless Steel Review
With an MSRP of $1399, you’d expect really solid performance from the Frigidaire FFHS2311LW. What wind up with is a decent fridge and a solid vegetable drawer. Unfortunately, you also get stuck with a fridge that hits you in the electric bill and a freezer that will burn more than it will freeze. Its best asset is a spatial balance between the fridge and freezer, meaning your can store substantial amounts of frozen and fresh goods…but if you can’t get it on sale, why would you really want to?
